When I first purchased my ipad I was too excited to care what case I left the store with. I just threw in the standard Mac cover – and then a day later I returned it. It was flimsy, it smudged easily, it was – in a word – disappointing. So my search to find something better began – and it hasn’t been easy. So far the best option of come across is the Dodo case. This is a quality item and well worth the $60. If anyone else has any alternatives that they would argue are better, don’t hesitate to suggest one.

Somehow Nike does it right, again.  In 34 seconds, they are able to capture the raw emotion of this seemingly unending Tiger Woods fiasco/drama.  In 34 seconds, with Tiger Woods not speaking a word, we simply witness a somber, focused, individual with obvious pain and regret.  We also see an athlete.  We see an athlete ready to be an athlete again.  It’s an apology, of sorts.  It’s also a homage to his father, who it seems he loves deeply – and misses.

The commercial is a touch sentimental, but it’s also sincere.  It’s minimalist, raw, honest, dark, somber, real.  Hopefully, now, we can get back to reviewing his golf game, not his personal life.
